I been trying to understand Bloodborne in a conceptual way. I have been revisiting The Matrix movie ( one of the coolest movies from the late 90s, but I forgot a lot about it) and the whole structure is based on the fundamentals of the Matrix.
Bloodborne > Matrix
Dreamworld, hunter dream/ nightmare > The Matrix (simulation)
Real World/ waking world: Yharman, all non-dream/ nightmare - the destroyed world, human in biopod/ Zion.
It is hinted the Matrix real world is another layer of simulation, something I feel bloodborne wake world isn't that real either/ destroyed.
Moon presence - Deus Ex Machina
The hunter - Neo / Mr. Anderson
Great ones, Kos, Oden - Matrix OS programs like the Architect, the Oracle
Less Great one: Amy, bloodborne bosses - Lesser program app, antivirus Agent Smith. Merovingian, Persephone
The Doll/ Gehrman - Morpheus
Prof William/ Laurence - Morpheus - maybe.
Fighting Gehramn - red or blue pill
The infection plague of the beast - the war between humans and robots.
Pthumeran - Human before the robot control.
Umbilical cord- the cord connected to the human brain in the biopod
The operation table - The biopod
Insight /great one wisdom- A.I.
Doll/ Lady Maria- Trinity this is a stretch
Djura - Cypher
Bloodborne 2 - The Matrix Resurrections, Resurrection felt like the first matrix, which could be a remake.
Other movies based on physical looks: The Brotherhood of the wolves. The hunter looks like the highwayman in black that does kung fu. There are a lot of bloodborne items borrowed from the brotherhood. Dracula, werewolf stuff like Van Helsing and Underwood. The Assassin's Creed operation table is like the Hunter operation table.
Hi, hunters. I have the access to all three chalices of the 5 layer and I want to got the fire and bolt gems for my Saif and Saw spear. I mean 20 abyssal gems from boss. Now i have a many different gems but they are 1-16, 17 rating.
For example my Saif with gems have 174 +330 fire damage. How can I boost damage more?
My character have 98 Arcane, 65 HP, 50/50 skill/strength and 40 endurance. I'm on NG+ now.
I was already made save before ritual on usb flash. What should I do next?
What do y’all think is the worst boss in Bloodborne in terms of difficulty, rewards and lore? Me personally I would have to say Laurence is the worst boss imo because of his horrible love set despite being similar to cleric beast always get annoying to dodge really quick, and the first attack in the entire fight he does literally could one shot you depending on your health, fire resistance and Game level. In terms of rewards it’s kinda garbage unless your using the beast claw (which is already pretty bad) and the only thing that’s actually awarding after the rune is the blood echos and the sense of triumph from beating him. I don’t actually pay attention to lore that much but Laurence’s lore is absolutely insane. IMO he has one of the best story’s in the game but this was just me critiquing Laurence but I just want to know what y’all think of him (or any other boss)
Any tips or tricks that I need to know for starting off because I’m going in completely blind so some tips would be nice and what weapon should I use?
Is anyone able to help me with the big man logarius , I'm in my first play through
Say a Bloodborne boss (Beasts and big ones)

There has been a theory in my mind for a while know. As you know, killing Ebrietas gives you a Prey Slaughtered message whereas the Orphan of Kos, Mergo's Wet Nurse and the Moon Presence all give you the message, Nightmare Slain. Ebrietas is a Great One that was left behind unlike the others, so I've been wondering: What if, remaining in the Waking World somehow demotes a True Great One. The three I mentioned are all fought in Dreams
(Orphan in the Fishing Hamlet, Wet Nurse in Mensis and Moon Presence in Hunter's Dream). Granted, Amygdala too is a Great One however it might be the same case with Ebrietas as we can find several in the Waking world as well as the Nightmare which might have been based off of the past. As such, I think that remaining in the Waking World demotes a True Great One to a lower status.
The data folders of Bloodborne feature several unseen files of alternative versions of existing boss fights, as well as unseen bosses that never made the cut. One of the better-known examples of this is the Great One Beast, which has its own moveset and model despite not being present in the game. However, a much more interesting case of a removed boss fight is the alternative version of the final boss, the Moon Presence. Yes, in the original vision of the Bloodborne developers, the fight with the enigmatic Moon Presence was supposed to be completely different. The creature had a bigger and bulkier model with much larger tentacles that it would rely heavily on in the fight, unlike its dumbed down counterpart. The removed Moon Presence also had a far greater reach, and the place in which you fought it was a dark cathedral hall instead of the large illuminated field that you see in the final version. Given that the Moon Presence is one of the hardest bosses in Bloodborne, a more advanced version of it with additional skills and tricks would've been an absolute nightmare to fight, which is likely why some of its original features were removed.
The Lovecraftian world of Bloodborne, much like the rest of FromSoftware’s Soulsborne outings, is packed with a vast selection of nightmarish enemies who are more than capable of making quick work of any unprepared player. Alongside facing these fiendish creatures during the main game, players can likewise test their might against them within the Chalice Dungeons. Optional and procedurally generated arenas accessed through the game’s main hub, these subterranean labyrinths are home to dangerous traps, hordes of enemies, and rare rewards for those able to make it through in one piece. The dungeons are also home to some unique enemies that can't be found in the main game, and because they're randomised each time, many dungeon-only enemies are easy to miss. The rarest is the Labyrinth Mole. A creature with grotesque tendrils shrouding its face, its freakish design makes it one of Bloodborne's most disturbing enemies. Given that it took two whole years after the game's launch for this enemy to even be discovered, the chances of anyone stumbling upon it are incredibly slim. Considering how horrifying it is, this is probably for the best.

So I’m pretty sure I’ve picked up all the chunks you find around regular game. Is there any way to farm blood chunks or get them without spending insight?
