Interact with the Fishing Hamlet Priest. | |||
Notes | Must equip the Milkweed Rune to interact. |
The Accursed Brew is a Hunter Tool in Bloodborne's The Old Hunters DLC.
Description
In-Game Description
- Skull of a local from the violated fishing village. The inside of the skull was forcibly searched for eyes, as evidenced by innumerable scratches and indentations.
- No wonder the skull became stewed in curses.
- They who offer baneful chants. Weep with them, as one in trance.
Availability
- Fishing Hamlet:
- While the Milkweed Rune is equipped, interact with the friendly, wandering NPC villager who speaks in verses, right before the lamp.
Characteristics
When this Hunter Tool is used, the caster throws a concentrated arcane ball that deals moderate damage for the price of 2 QS Bullets. It has a very small arc and explodes after a short distance.
Within PvE, it might not be as efficient as firing the Blacksky Eye twice. However, it can hit multiple opponents and can be used more tactically in PvP by using it unlocked and/or purposefully throwing it on the ground. Predicting an opponents' location with timing can be tricky, but rewarding.
Notes
- This Hunter Tool is most useful against multiple enemies. Using it on a single opponent is wasteful, unless it is another hunter.
Trivia
- This Hunter Tool's casting animation is nearly identical as casting a Fireball in the Dark Souls series. The only differences being, obviously, that it deals Arcane damage and that it explodes after a certain distance.
- Upon closer inspection of the use of this hunter tool, it would seem as if the skull itself is not thrown, but rather its contents, which makes sense since this is referred to as a "Brew".
