Rise of the Shepherd is the first chapter of my second fanfiction, "The Bleeding". This story is about religious warfare and persecution. With all that aside, our story begins.
Through the ages of time, many religions have existed, and many have ceased to exist. Many legendary Lords of Cinder were worshipped as gods by many people. The worship of one particular god, a giant known as Yhorm, spread through many lands. However, Yharnam was the only land not familiar with Yhorm, so a druid (priest/warrior) called Krystof made his way to Yharnam to teach the Yharnamites about his god.
Krystof had been a druid for almost 10 years, and his word was respected by all he had come across. Some people even called him a prophet, but Krystof denied thes…

The killer didn't stop in Old Yharnam. His victims were many, from Cathedral Ward, to Yahar'gul, and even to Central Yharnam. They were anyone from prostitutes, to noblemen and women, to Hunters in their prime. The newspapers had named him The Ripper, as his kills couldn't be called clean at all. To call them feasts for Bloodlickers was an understatement. Yharnamites were calling this time period, when any and all were prey for a monster among beasts, the Autumn of Terror.
Doctor Plague walked into one of Central Yharnam's finest bars to meet a contact. He walked to the bar and ordered a glass of wine. A few years ago, he would have ordered a Blood Cocktail, but he stopped drinking recreational blood at the insistence of Amelia. He looked t…Read more >
The screams and sounds of fighting were still audible in the time it had taken to get dressed and outfitted. I nearly hurtled myself out of the entrance of the great hall.
On other days I would have been happy to sate my bloodlust but not against our most formidable foe, Executioners. Servants and knights were fighting side by side a sight that would horrify most if it were not for the situation at hand. I joined the fight against them. Never before had I seen such brutality. Our weaponry was doing nothing to their padded armor, we slashed and parried with our blades. But it is impossible to stop such a heavy weapon with a slim blade. I watched as a fellow knight blocked and failed against the wheel. I saw his mangled remains spit out behi…Read more >
Notes before starting: The Lost Chapter is bascially what happens during the relationship between Harold and his stepsister, Elena. This chapter does contain stuff like, well I don't really want to call it "incest" because they are step-siblings, but I couldn't think of a better term, so if that kind of stuff bothers you, then you don't have to keep reading. So here we go:
Harold Jenkins and his stepsister, Elena, had a very good relationship. Harold got along just fine with Elena, in contrast to how much Harold hated his stepmother, Christina. Their relationship was good even before a somewhat major event happened.
Elena loved when Harold would tell her stories about his past, since they were entertaining, interesting, and somewhat comedi…Read more >
As they walked down the tomb towards Old Yharnam, Doctor Plague and his followers felt immense dread. He heard one hunter tell a huntress, the hunter's wife Plague assumed, the story of the Nameless Lancer to keep her spirits up. "Your loved ones shouldn't be on somethng as dangerous as a hunt." Plague thought to himself, then took it back when Amelia started walking next to him. They finally came to the gate of Old Yharnam. Plague found an old note on the ground, but it was too faded to make out. He opened the gates and his group beheld the broken, burnt out landscape. "It's too quiet. Stay alert." Plague had just finished saying that when they were ambushed by dozens on dozens of beasts, ranging from scrawny Beast Patients to full grown …Read more >
Harold quickly turned around, and Samantha, his long lost mother, stood there, smiling. Harold thought that he would never see his mother again, and was even questioning if she was actually there or if he was just hallucinating. He didn't care though, since he was very happy to see her.
Harold asked his mother how she found him, and how she recognized him. Samantha said that word of all Harold's deeds and military victories travelled far and wide, so almost the entire world knew of Harold's actions. She also said that she recognized Harold because she would always recognize her child. Harold didn't care about any of this, however, he was just both happy and sad to see Samantha. He was happy because he hadn't seen her in almost 20 years. Ho…Read more >
Harold and Henriett arrived at the Citadel in about an hour. Before entering, Harold told Henriett that he had to enter alone, since this was his mission, not Henriett's. Henriett agreed.
As Harold entered, he was suprised that the Shadow Lord did not have any minions guarding the entrance. He made his way towards a staircase at the far side of the room, and cautiously went up the stairs. On the second floor there was a large gate, sealed shut. Harold noticed some symbols above the gate, possibly a clue on how to open the gate. From left to right, the symbols were: Snake, Owl, Dragon. Harold made his way to a room to the right of the gate, where he encountered a large skeletal monster wielding giant club. Harold attacked the Sentinal's ank…Read more >
Three weeks after Harold's banishment from Yharnam, he needed to know who tricked him into slaughtering innocent people, why they wanted to banish Harold, and if he could ever redeem himself. He vowed to accomplish his goal, or die trying.
Harold left the inn where he was hiding, and made his way out of town. He knew that Yharnam would send soldiers out of its borders to search for him, so he kept his head down. If Harold was identified by soldiers from Yharnam, he would be forced to kill everyone of them, which he did not want to do unless it was absolutely necessary.

The shot that killed Zachary was heard all throughout Yharnam. Within minutes, many Yharnam citizens, hunters, and priests came to see what had happened. When they saw what Harold had done, they ran away in fear. Being forced to kill his best friend was the last step towards Harold's madness.
Harold then went to the bar to get a drink, as usual, but everyone was afraid when he entered. Harold never wanted to be feared by his fellow Yharnamites, he only wanted his enemies to fear him. He started to question what he has become, and wonder if he was even himself anymore. It was unclear to Harold, but he believed that he has lost himself to insanity.

I hope you all enjoyed my last fanfiction, because this one once again dives into the hellhole that is Yharnam in the eyes of Doctor Plague. This story takes place 5 years after the end of the last one.
The Sun was begininng to set, and Plague knew it would be very long before it rose again. As he went out on the streets of Cathedral Ward to consult with the rest of the Choir, he thought about his life since the last Hunt. How he gained infamy, found love then lost it, was sent to the Nightmare, then found love again. As his followers joined him, he heard many interesting conversations. He interupted only once, when he heard them talking about some hunter from the last hunt, Harris or Harry or something (He wasn't completely listening). He …Read more >

It seems when transporting to the ethereal realm, my wounds have been healed by the spirits of the Vileblood. I search around the tidal pool and find some of my belongings. I retrieve my backpack, some blood vial, my dagger, tucked in the manic Choir's garb and Sophia's diary. Poor Sophia. I wonder if I ever meet her again. The light in the beach is too dim so I move towards an eerie light in the nearby fishing hamlet. It rains heavy and I am soaked wet. I tremble because of the cold and the blood loss. Harold's Iron Lancers won many battles, conquered many neighboring kingdoms, and had never faced defeat. Its ranks increased from the original 41 soldiers to almost 500 soldiers, about 150 of which were hunters. Harold's friend Zachary was the second-in-command of the unit, and answered to no one except Harold. For almost 10 years, the army was undefeated, feared, and respected. Harold knew that his father would be proud of him.
Outside of battle, Harold and Lydia, the woman who healed Harold after he almost died, formed a relationship. By the time they got married, they had known each other for almost 4 years, and loved each other very much. Harold even moved out of his own house to live with Lydia.

" It is, dear." Sophia comes at me with a heavenly smelling dish of turnip soup. "This is the only way to expel gained blood. And this will warm you up, dear"

The extravagant carriage finally wheeled to a stop in the stables. I dragged my “passenger” out of the carriage and into the frost filled world that was Castle Cainhurst. The sounds of the crickets and cracking of fire in some house chimneys in the early spring weave a peaceful canvas of a bountiful countryside. Perhaps, this peace is what one would yearn for.

Only recently did I remember about the very famous and much sought out "Out of Shape" Gems, or in short, OOS gems.
This got me thinking. Why are there no Droplet OOS Gems?
And that's when it hit me. Droplet gems are EXCLUSIVE to the vanilla game, and there are only two ways to acquire them:
- by crushing the Tear Stone or Red Jeweled Brooch, which will give the unique the Blood Gems
- by farming the Winter Lanterns
There is an interesting connection here between Droplet Gems and the Doll. It's really weird, but i thought i mention it, people might find it interesting.
I've also NEVER seen any low level Droplet Gem btw. If anyone has any information on Droplet Gems, please let me know.Read more >

What I'm doing is something that is absolutely maddening and insane, the ACTUAL pages with all the different Blood Gems in the game. How am I to achieve that? Simple. A long time ago in the earlier days of the wiki, some madman almost created a page for every single Blood Gem in the game. Bloodborne so far is one of the best game I have ever play.
The first impression the game gave me is its Victorian design. The city is so pretty yet somehow dreadful. I have played Devil May Cry series and been in love with the Gothic design. However, in DMC, I dominated. I don't have to worry about a demon pop out of nowhere and rekt me. But in Bloodborne, however, every step must be taken carefully.
Yharnam is big and it gives you the dreadful feeling of a soon dead town. The cityare still lighted. But the source of light mostly comes from the burning coprse of its citizen.
A ghost town and its denizens... kind of remind me of Rapture in Bioshock 1. The horror and the dread come from the fact that the creatures or whatever you fight were th…Read more >

Just go play Bloodborne, check the attire pieces and put their values in the pages, it's not really that hard, but it takes a while.
I'd ask you to just deal with the values of INDIVIDUAL pieces of attire. I will place the combined values of all pieces into the Attire Sets.

So I was collecting some pictures for the dlc stuff, and I found out that there is an interesting thing about the Nightmare Executioners, not only do they seem to be a variant of the Executioners (the enemy), or that, from their garb, they also seem to be a member of the Executioners (the organization), hence the name.
But, what is the most strange is that they also wear the Iron Yahar'gul Helm.
I have confirmation of this because I actually took a close-up picture of it and it checks out. It is definitely a Yahar'gul Helm.
Another thing that peaked my interest is the cosmic haze that seems to be within their helms.
Now, the cosmic haze is essentially an appearance or portal to the cosmos, like the ones that appear when casting an Arcane Hunter…

I was wondering how many people are still on this wiki. How many people still have been lurking on it and making some changes. I'm asking because I feel like we could unite and decide what changes to do next, what kinds of edits should be made to certain pages etc.
I say this because there is a lot of missing info, as well as outdated info as well. The Great Ones' page is outdated as hell, we have essentially confirmation of how for instance, Rom is a kin, not a Great One. this is just a small example, and i feel like we should do something about it.

THE CHILDREN OF BLOODBORNE
In this piece, I’m going to try and explore the possibility of where all the children are in Bloodborne. It struck me as odd that we meet a grand total of two children in the entire game (both related to Father Gascoigne) and, even then, that’s pretty early on. From then onwards, there are no children anywhere. So… Where are all the kids?
PART ONE – THE HEALING CHURCH
I’ll begin with information readily available in game and on the wiki.
The Healing Church was founded after a difference of opinion occurred between two important men – Master Willem (leader of Byrgenwerth) and Laurence. These men found something within the maze of ruins below Yharnam. They found the old blood, something linked to t…
