Sold by the Messengers for 400 Blood Echoes, depending on player level. Obtained from Eileen the Crow in Central Yharnam. Rare drop from Rotted Corpse. |
The Bold Hunter's Mark is a consumable item in Bloodborne.
Description
In-Game Description
- Dangling, upside-down rune etched in the mind of a hunter.
- The image upon this parchment allows one to envision the rune with clarity.
- Allows a hunter to awaken again without losing Blood Echoes, a trick that seems nearly too good to be true.
Availability
- Purchased from the Bath Messengers, in the Hunter's Dream using Blood Echoes.
- Found throughout Yharnam and the Chalice Dungeons.
- Can be obtained from Eileen and Djura. The latter only gives Bold Hunter's Mark in NG+.
- Rare drop from Rotted Corpse.
Use
The Bold Hunter's Mark allows the Hunter to transport back to the most recently activated Lamp without losing Blood Echoes. If used after dying (before reclaiming lost Blood Echoes), Blood Echoes may still be reclaimed.
Notes
- It has the same use as the Hunter's Mark, without its downsides.
Trivia
- It is the Dark Souls' series' equivalent of the Homeward Bone.
- The animation for the Bold Hunter's Mark is very similar to the "Look Skyward" gesture in Dark Souls 1
- Some Rotted Corpses drop them, this suggests that they used to be hunters who associated with the Hunter's Dream at some point in their former lives.
