Weapon Info
Weapon Type Left Hand Weapons

The Church Cannon is a Left Hand Weapon in The Old Hunters DLC.

In-Game Description

An oversized weapon used by the Healing Church. A type of cannon that fires with a curved trajectory and creates an explosion upon impact.
Originally designed for use by brawny men with deteriorated brains, not for just any ordinary hunter.
But the men lacked the wits to effectively operate firearms, and the weapon was quietly ushered into permanent storage.

It has lower base damage than the cannon (480 base damage when fully upgraded, compared with the 600 of the Cannon), as well as lower QS Bullet consumption (only 10 instead of 12). It also has a slightly lower strength requirement, but a higher Bloodtinge requirement.

There is an arc to its shot, which explodes only upon impact instead of exploding in mid-air. The Church Cannon also reloads faster than the regular Cannon.

  • The Church Cannon actually has an explosion and arc, making it more similar to a grenade launcher than an actual Cannon. However, because its projectile can only explode once it hits a surface, it has, in theory, much better range than the Cannon.
  • Used by a variant of the Nightmare Executioner.
