In-Game Description
- The eye of a Blood-Drunk Hunter. Its pupil is collapsed and turned to mush, indicating the onset of the scourge of beasts.
- A hunter who goes drunk with blood is said to be taken by the Nightmare, destined to wander forever, engaged in an endless hunt. It is a fate that no Hunter can escape.
Availability
- given by the Messengers, in the Hunter's Dream, after defeating Vicar Amelia.
Use
Allows the player to warp directly into the Hunter's Nightmare, via the Amygdala outside Oedon Chapel.
Notes
- It is identical in function to the Tonsil Stone.
Trivia
- Most Yharnamites cover their eyes, and so do a lot of other Hunters. Some notable characters like Father Gascoigne, Djura, Afflicted Beggar, Blood Minister, and Simon, the Harrowed. Perhaps not to reveal their blood-drunk state. This likely stems from the fact that the Amygdalas, invisible beings to all except those with tremendous amounts of Insight, started to abduct blood-drunk hunters into the Hunter's Nightmare.
