Anti-Clockwise Metamorphosis 2

Anti-Clockwise Metamorphosis is a Caryll Rune in Bloodborne.

Description[]

In-Game Description

A secret symbol left by Caryll, runesmith of Byrgenwerth.
The twisted cross means "metamorphosis".
Rotated anti-clockwise, this rune boosts stamina.
The discovery of blood made their dream of evolution a reality. Metamorphosis, and the excesses and deviation that followed, was only the beginning.

Effects[]

One of the "Metamorphosis" runes. Raises stamina.

Notes[]

  • One of the most useful runes in-game. Both in PvE and PvP. As it allows players to be unrelenting in their attacks or dodges.
  • Because it does not add a fixed amount to a player's stamina, but rather an amount based on percentage, it becomes much more powerful if players have high Endurance to begin with.
    • Stacking multiple of these runes increases the effect additively.

Trivia[]

  • It shares a similar symbol with the Clockwise Metamorphosis. The only difference is that the symbol of this version is mirrored.
  • Interestingly, both this rune, and its counterpart, seem to mislead in how they are named, in contrast to their appearance. They are shaped like a swirling cross, and although their tips appear to point to a direction, the middle rotates towards to the opposite, and it is the middle that reflects the true direction.
    • In this case, the Anti-Clockwise Metamorphosis rune's middle is pointing anti-clockwise, whereas the tips of the cross point clockwise.
