Description
In-Game Description
- A rifle typically used by Healing Church hunters.
- It is said that this rifle was employed by Ludwig, the first hunter of the Church. Its long, heavy barrel makes up in range for what it lacks in reload speed.
- Ludwig's Rifle exhibits several departures from the workshop's design, suggesting that the Church anticipated much larger inhuman beasts.

Characteristics
Ludwig's Rifle has the same range of the Hunter Pistol and the same spread of the Hunter Blunderbuss. It is, however, much slower in terms of fire rate.
In terms of damage, it is quite deadly, but only at close ranges. It is the most powerful Blunderbuss type weapon until level 30 of Bloodtinge. Beyond that point, the Hunter Blunderbuss is the most powerful. As such, Ludwig's Rifle is the best for low Bloodtinge builds.

Notes
- Beware the slower fire rate of this weapon, as it will leave players standing still for longer than normal. It is tied with the Piercing Rifle in that regard.
Trivia
- When players two-hand a weapon, while Ludwig's Rifle is equipped, the barrel of the rifle will bend upwards to make it more compact when on the player's back. This is the only firearm that does this.
- This rifle has a very odd shape at the base. It almost seems like it is meant to be a grip for handling it two-handed.
- It is the second longest rifle in the game. The longest is the Piercing Rifle. The shortest is the Hunter Blunderbuss.
- Brador has a Ludwig’s Rifle equipped. However, he never uses it, as he always uses the Bloodletter in its transformed state.
