Pungent Blood Cocktail is a consumable item in Bloodborne.
Description
In-Game Description
- Mature blood cocktail that releases a pungent odor when thrown that attracts blood-thirsty beasts.
- A precious tool in sadly short supply. In Yharnam, they produce more blood than alcohol, as the former is more intoxicating.
Availability
- Purchased from the Bath Messengers, in the Hunter's Dream, for Blood Echoes or 1 Insight.
- Found on corpses throughout the game.
- Gifted from the Afflicted Beggar.
Effect
Throw to attract beast-type enemies towards the location of its impact. Most enemies that are affected will immediately ignore everything to feed on the blood.

- Since it is a rare, expensive item it should be used only in dire situations.
- Can be used strategically with Molotov Cocktails. Throw the Blood Cocktail first, let the beasts gather closely, and then throw the Molotov.
- Works well against the Blood-starved Beast. Even its name is a hint.
Trivia
- Serves a similar function as the Alluring Skulls from the Dark Souls' series.
- It is typically used by Yhanarmite as a common drink. The Afflicted Beggar gave The Hunter 2 bottles of this as thanks. He probably thinks that the Hunter drink this cocktail "Oh, you are a sick puppy... You drink the blood of half the town and now this... And you talk of beasts? You hunters are the real killers.".
