The Torch is a Left Hand Weapon in Bloodborne.
Description[]
In-Game Description
- A common torch formed by wrapping a pine resin-drenched cloth around the end of a long stick.
- Hunters choose torches not only because the hunt leads them to the darkest nooks, but also because certain creatures they encounter are possessed of a deathly fear of flame.
Availability[]
- Central Yharnam:
- Next to the Huntsman's Minion banging on the large wooden gate. Found after the large congregation of Huntsmen surrounding the crucified Scourge Beast.
Characteristics[]
The Torch provides light in dark areas, more so than the Hand Lantern. It can be used to set enemies on fire.
Some enemies will remain at a distance from the Torch, such as the Beast Patients in Old Yharnam.
Notes[]
- The Torch cannot be bought from the Bath Messengers. Only one of these can be found per playthrough, though it will respawn with each NG+.
- It is inferior in every way to the Hunter's Torch. It cannot be upgraded, deals less damage, has lower Arcane scaling, and is otherwise identical to the Hunter's Torch.
Trivia[]
- Lorewise, the difference between the Hunter's Torch and the Torch is that one is a weapon with utility, and the other is just a utility.
