A Ghost from the Past is the fourth and penultimate chapter of my sixteenth fanfiction, "Crimson Day". This story is pretty good so far, so I hope that it will stay strong. Let's get started. I'm finishing this story today.
I was originally going to have 5 chapters, the prologue, and an epilogue, but now I'm not going to have the epilogue.
A Ghost from the Past
Pale left Henriett's house, and went home. Henriett, Jack, and Lydia left the house, and headed to Ancrya. In Ancrya, Samantha was walking home, and the Gravedigger approached her. His presence made her feel very uncomfortable. She recognized his voice when he spoke.
Gravedigger: Hello there. It's a lovely day today, isn't it?
Samantha: Not really. What do you want?
Gravedigger: I was just looking for someone to talk to.
Samantha: I don't want to be bothered right now.
Gravedigger: Is something wrong?
Samantha: I just want to be alone.
Gravedigger: Okay then. Have a good day, Samantha.
Samantha began walking away, but then realized something, and turned towards the Gravedigger.
Samantha: How do you know my name?
Gravedigger: You look like a Samantha.
He walked away, and Samantha went home. Henriett and her children arrived in Ancrya, and went to Samantha's house. They entered the house, and talked. Back in Yharnam, Hajvarr encountered the Gravedigger, who was at the bar drinking vodka. He saw Hajvarr approach him, and looked towards him. Hajvarr recognized his voice.
Gravedigger: What's up, mate? Come to talk to an old man, eh?
Hajvarr: Why do you wear that hood? And how does it cast that shadow on your face?
Gravedigger: I wear the hood to conceal my face. And the hood is enchanted, which is why there is a shadow.
Hajvarr: Who are you?
Gravedigger: You would love to know, would you? But you already know the answer to that question.
Hajvarr left the bar, and went back to the Fort. The Gravedigger left the bar, and went to Henriett's house. He didn't go inside. He simply stood in front of it, stuck his shovel into the ground, leaned on it, and looked at the house.
Gravedigger: It's been far too long.
Thank you for reading this chapter. Tell me what you think in the comments. I'm going to begin working on the next chapter in about 2 minutes.
