There are a lot of attire sets in Bloodborne. They all have their pros and cons that make them unique. Everybody wears attire, with the exception of the Queen Killer, the Beast Claw-wielding Yahar'gul Hunter, and the Beast's Embrace Hunter in the Hunter's Nightmare. My favorite attire to wear is the Cainhurst Helmet, Crowfeather Garb, Gascoigne's Gloves, and Charred Hunter Trousers. I want to rank every attire set from ugliest to beautifulest. This is entirely subjective. You are definitely going to have a different opinion than me. I'm not going to include pictures, because that would take too much time. Let's get started.
For gendered attire, there will be different rankings for some of them.
#34: Doll Set[]
Fucking disgusting. This set is so ugly. What is the point? It looks good on the Doll, but that's just because the Doll is good looking. I hate the look of this set. The only reason that anyone would wear this set is because they lost a bet, are doing a challenge, or want to confuse the hell out of the Beasts, Kin, Huntsmen, and Hunters that are trying to kill them. Wear this set if you want to go insane by looking at yourself with this shit on.

#32: Madman Set[]
This is the only set in the game that I don't have, and I never plan on it. This set is ugly as hell. Who in their right mind would wear this shit? The gloves and pants don't exist, there is a snake, and why is their a noose around the Hunter's neck? I know that this is the set worn by a madman. I understand, but it's still weird. I don't know why this set exists. If you can tell me that, I would love to know.
#31: Knight Set (Male) []
This set makes male Hunters look like douche bags. It's so retarded. If you wear the Knight Set as a male Hunter, then shame on you. Why would you wear this? It looks hideous. It looks worse on my Hunter for one reason: his beard goes through the front of the collar, and his ponytail goes through the back of the collar. That is just weird. There are a lot of sets that are like that, but it's the worst on this set. And yes, my male Hunter has a ponytail. If this set was actually good, then maybe I would use it occasionally, but there are so many better options than this. So it's ugly and not very good. This set was probably made by the same people who designed the Bed of Chaos.
#30: Yamamura Set[]
Gross. The colors of this set are all terrible. It looks like someone vomited all over it. I don't even know how to pronounce the name, and I don't want to know. The stats are alright, but the look makes this set impossible for me to wear.
#29: White Church Set (both versions)[]
This set looks completely retarded. It's entirely one color. That makes it gross. The hood is dumb, the trousers look better with a different set, and the gloves are incredibly boring. The set is pretty good, but I only use it for 1 thing: fighting the Blood-starved Beast. That is the only time that I ever use this set, becuase it is very useful for that fight. The poison resistance is so good. Why do sets that are good always have to be ugly? I don't get it.
#28: Black Church Set (female)[]
This is one of only two gendered attires where the female version isn't better. This set looks so dumb on a female hunter. I don't know why it looks like that. It's just stupid. I don't even know how to describe how dumb this set looks. One of my waifus uses it, so I don't really want to shit on it too much.
#27: Executioner Set[]
Pyramid Head! Get out of Bloodborne! The Pyramid Head helmet is the reason that I dislike the look of this set. I've had nightmares about Pyramid Head, so I don't like being reminded of him. Aside from that, the set looks incredibly bland. It looks like your generic church attire. I don't like it, and would love if it didn't exist. No, Pyramid Head! Stay away from me!
#26: Choir Set[]
There are not very many church attire sets that look cool. The Choir Set is extremely useful, but it doesn't look good. The Blinfold Cap is interesting, and the gloves look alright, but everything else is just stupid. I never use this set. I don't even bother with Arcane resistance, honestly. I just use my normal attire for everything except the Blood-starved Beast. I don't like the Choir, so it's not surprising that I don't like their set.
#25: Student Set (capeless) []
The capeless Student Set is retarded. That's all I have to say.
#24: Gehrman's Hunter Set[]
Why did FromSoft give me the set that Gehrman wears in that fucking wheelchair? I wanted the set that he wears during the fight. Why did they have to give me this? Maybe if the garb had a cape, then I would use this set. But this set is just really boring. It makes me look like a dirty hobo. That is not a good thing.
#23: Butcher Set[]
Why does this set exist? I don't know. It's so ugly. It's also in the worst location ever. I hate the place where you find this set. The set is not bad, but it looks terrible. The mask is the reason that I hate it so much. It looks terrible. Take that off, and the set looks alright. I wish that you could get the version that those armored Huntsmen wear. You know, without the apron/cape/whatever the fuck. I do wear this set sometimes. I just don't wear the mask. Well, I do, but I use Beast's Embrace with it.
#22: Student Set (caped) []
The caped Student Set is pretty cool if you combine it with the Mensis Cage. I think that it's cool, at least. Not cool enough for me to use it, but still cool.
#21: Decorative Old Hunter Set[]
This set is really cool, but I don't use it. Ever.
#20: Old Hunter Set[]
This is going to be very controversial. While I do like the look of this set, it doesn't really suit me. I hate how the trousers and gloves look. Maybe if there was no cape, then it would be higher, but I really don't like how the cape looks. The cap is really cool, but this set is just very disappointing.
#19: Foreign Set[]
I really regret selling this set. That was a huge mistake on my part. I should not have done that. This is the first set on this list that I think looks cool. I love how it looks. There is a better looking alternative, but I still like this set. Especially the Black Hood. Overall, the Foreign Set is a great looking set. Why did I sell it? I'm an idiot.
#18: Harrowed Set[]
This set is ugly, but I like how it looks. I don't know how or why that is supposed to make since, but I guess it does. It's cool. I don't know what the hell it is even supposed to be, but that doesn't matter. Why is this considered church attire? That makes no sense to me. I really like this set. It's pretty good.
#17: Constable Set[]
This set is awesome. It makes you look like a train conductor wearing a bucket on his head. How could you not love that? It looks pretty cool. One of my favorite characters uses it, which gives it some bonus points. Unfortunately, I don't have the helmet because I don't have PSN, and I really don't want to kill Valtr for it.
#16: Bone Ash Set[]
I used to hate the look of this set, but it's grown on me a lot. It's really cool. I don't really know how to describe it. It's just cool.
#15: Tomb Prospector Set[]
This set is badass. I love the look of it. It's a really good set, as well. It's very useful for a lot of different things, and you won't be disgusted when wearing it. This is one of the only church sets that I can respect.
#14: Black Church Set (male) []
The male version of the Black Church Set is really cool. The hat is ugly, but the Beak Mask is a good replacement for that. This is a very useful set, and it looks cool. That is very rare in Soulsborne. I like using the White Church Trousers and Gascoigne's Gloves with this set. I really do like this set. Even though I usually hate the Healing Church and everything that it stands for. Ah, I'm just kidding. I'm just a Vileblood for life.
#13: Ashen Hunter Set[]
This set is very cool. I love how it looks. It's kind of weird, but that's what I like about it. The gray color is unique. It would be cooler if it had a cape. Despite that, this is a very cool set. The Frenzy resistance is perfect, and the Beasthood is really good. Overall, this set is really useful.
#12: Knight Set (female) []
The female Knight Set is really cool. Aside from the hat, it's a very cool set. For my female hunter, I wear the Knight Garb, Yharnam Hunter Cap, and Maria's gloves and Trousers. That looks really cool. I love the red color scheme that this set has. Red is my favorite color, by the way. I love this set for female hunters.
#11: Graveguard Set[]
Even though I usually hate sets that are this bizarre, I love this set. It looks pretty freakin' sweet. It's kind of a pain in the ass to find, but that doesn't take away from the set. The stats are pretty damn good. I love how this set looks. There are better looking sets in the game, but this is easily one of the most unique looking sets.
#10: Gascoigne's Set []
Gascogine's Set is really fucking cool. I love the look of it. The gloves are my favorite in the entire game. The garb looks really awesome. That hat is pretty cool. The trousers are kind of lame. I wore this set for a while on my first playthrough. This was the set that I wore the second most, after the number 4 spot on this list. We'll get to that one in a minute, though. The stats on this set are perfect. Overall, there's nothing bad about this set. It's very good, and looks awesome.
#9: Hunter Set[]
The signiture set in Bloodborne is really cool. I love how this set looks. Both versions are equally badass. Everybody knows this set. We've all probably used it at one point. Sadly, there are so many cooler sets than this. It's a really great set, but it gets overshadowed quite easily.
#8: Yharnam Hunter Set (both versions) []
The Yharnam Hunter Set is the only gendered attire that looks cool on both male and female hunters. Even better, they are both equally as cool. I love this set. It's so fucking awesome. The stats are not amazing, but the set looks really cool. This is the set that I used the third most on my first playthrough.
#7: Charred Hunter Set[]
I love this set. The stats are great, and it looks awesome. It doesn't have a headpiece, so I usually use the Top Hat or Hunter Hat with it. The fire resistance is extremely useful. The set is not very easy to find. If I didn't look on the page for it on this wiki, I would never have found the set. It is used a pretty cool NPC. I'm talking about the one with the Gattling Gun. Not the one who always kills himself by running into fire. This set is really cool, and I love it. The trousers are also my favorite.
#6: Henryk's Hunter Set[]
I don't know why there are so many hunter sets back to back, but there are. Henryk's Hunter Set is awsome. It looks really cool. That may seem surprising coming from someone who usually despises yellow. I love the big ass feather on the hat. That is what really makes the cap stand out. When I wear this set, I always use the Saw Cleaver and Hunter Pistol. The bolt resistance is not very useful, but it does help in extremely rare situations. This set is just too cool.
#5: Maria Hunter Set[]
Yet another fucking hunter set! I love the look of this set. It kicks the Knight Set's ass. This set is beautiful. The stats are perfect in almost everyway. It's the set worn by my favorite boss, so that gives it some bonus points. It's a bit expensive, but I have a shit ton of Madmen's Knowledge burning a whole in my pocket, so it's not that bad. This is the first set where I can't think of anything bad to say about it. It's just perfect.
#4: Yahar'gul Black Set[]
This was my favorite set for a very long time. I wore this set with the Charred Hunter gloves and trousers for the majority of my first playthrough, and for a while in my second playthrough. It looks so badass. I love it so much. The stats are alright, so that's pretty cool. The hoodless version of the helmet is something that I like to pretend doesn't exist. The set is used by a lot of my favorite enemies, which gives it 50 bonus points per Yahar'gul Hunter.
#3: Cainhurst Set[]
This set is fucking amazing. It looks really cool. The helmet and armor look so badass. The helmet is tied with the Beak Mask as my favorite headgear in the game. The stats are perfect in everyway. I would even say that this might be the best set in the game in terms of stats. My only problem with it is the Cainhurst Leggings. They are ugly as shit. Why do they make my legs so skinny? That is weird. I also prefer wearing the Crowfeather Garb over the Cainhurst Armor. Despite that, this set is really awesome.
#2: Brador's Set[]
Brador's Set is super fucking badass. The Cleric Beast scalp looks awesome. Everything about this set is cool. I wear this set very often. I usually use the Bloodletter and Ludwig's Rifle with it. I don't know why anyone would dislike this set. If you want a beast build, there is nothing better than this. Brador is a really badass dude, and has one really badass set. I wonder how long it took FromSoft to come up with this masterpiece.
#1: Crowfeather Set[]
The Crowfeather Set is awesome. It looks too cool. The Beak Mask is tied with the Cainhurst Helmet as my favorite headpiece, and the Crowfeather Garb is my favorite chest attire in the game. The trousers and gloves are pretty bland, but the mask and garb easily make up for that. The stats are very balanced. It is worn by my favorite NPC as well. If you don't like this set, then you are on drugs and need help.
